For Against All Odds 2023, IMPACT Wrestling returns to IMPACT Plus and YouTube. The evening’s main event will be Steve Maclin putting his IMPACT World Championship on the line against Alex Shelley. In addition, the X-Division, World Tag Team, and Digital Media Championships will all be contested. But that’s not all, oVe makes a triumphant return in six-man tag team action, taking on The Design. This unmissable show kicks off its free pre-show at 7:30 pm Eastern on YouTube before the main card starts at 8 pm Eastern.

A Reflection on oVe’s Comeback
Sami Callihan has been made miserable by The Design. They seemed to be hooked on him as he went through trials too, eventually joining The Design. It didn’t get any easier for Callihan since he was frequently on the losing end of the numbers game. Sami, who is no stranger to stables, turned on The Design as well. This all changed at Under Siege, when he turned on The Design.
Sami enlisted Rich Swann to take on The Design at Under Siege, but they were in need of a third member. That’s when Sami placed a call to Jake Crist for an unexpected return that left the IMPACT Universe stunned. Now oVe will reform with the addition of Madman Fulton coming back to IMPACT Wrestling alongside Sami and Jake. Although The Design have been working together for a long time, oVe has a lot of past experience as a team. Will they be able to shake off the rust or will The Design keep causing Sami trouble? Maclin vs. Shelley 2023: Against All Odds
The IMPACT World Championship was retained by Steve Maclin at Under Siege in a brutally bloody fight with PCO. Both men were bloodied by the end of the match and the IMPACT Zone was littered with cinder blocks, tables, staples, and other weapons. Although Maclin survived a brutal match, he will now need to deal with a very different challenge.
Shelley earned the right to challenge Maclin at Against All Odds 2023 when he defeated Eddie Edwards, Frankie Kazarian, Jonathan Gresham, Moose, and Yuya Uemura in a scramble match.The technical wrestling and experience advantage will go to Shelley in this match. In order to counter Maclin’s strength and size advantage, he will need to use both of these factors. In Against All Odds, Maclin will have to prove his technical ability after proving he can brawl and Under Siege.
