Orton was scheduled to compete in the Elimination Chamber on February 2024 in Perth, Australia, however failed to emerge victorious over Drew McIntyre the winner of the match. On WrestleMania 40, Orton competed in a triple threat match for the United States Championship against Logan Paul, with the latter emerging as the winner and retaining the belt against Kevin Owens.
With these results, Randy Orton’s singles PLE record remained still a poor 0-4, which brought him to face Gunther in Saudi Arabia. Unluckily for Orton, his records now extend up to five losses since he has been able to register a win.
The Long Road Back

Orton’s Emotional Return
Orton came back to WWE at Survivor Series 2009, going against the doctors advice, to reclaim his spot amidst reports that he was not medically fit to compete. Orten opened to the mental issues which he experienced during his absence in ring. “There were days that I would play the television with mileage… Top neurologists would tell me ‘You know what, you had a great career, you have a life after wrestling, you wanna be comfortable not to be in pain for the rest of your life… We are gonna fix your back but they’re gonna have to stop wrestling’, The first six months that I was out, I had that in my mind and it was tough psychologically very This was the stage of Orton’s getting back to the drawing board, which was a very challenging time.
