The fight between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk gets worse
In a shocking turn of events, Drew McIntyre made his dislike for CM Punk public on Friday Night SmackDown this week. People all over WWE were shocked by The Scottish Warrior’s brutal attack on The Second City Saint. It also showed how angry and cruel McIntyre can be.
The return of CM Punk turns into a nightmare
CM Punk spoke to a packed house in Chicago, where he grew up, to start the June 21 episode of SmackDown. After his fight at WWE Clash at the Castle, CM Punk talked about how bad it felt to lose in Drew McIntyre’s home country of Scotland. Even though they lost, Punk was proud of how tough he was, especially how he and his friend Cody Rhodes were able to defend against a possible attack by The Bloodline.
The fans in Chicago were thrilled as they cheered for their hometown hero in the ring. The happy mood of the night didn’t last long, though, because McIntyre’s anger was building up.
A shocking attack behind the scenes
As the night went on, a private scene with DIY and Grayson Waller that seemed normal took a shocking turn. There was a loud crash in the arena, which drew attention to the garage door, which flew open to show CM Punk lying on the floor, badly hurt and bloody.
Quickly, the cameras moved to Drew McIntyre, who had been in the news recently for leaving WWE on Monday Night RAW. It was clear that McIntyre had only one goal in mind when he went back to Chicago: to get back at CM Punk.
The Scottish Warrior’s Heartless Show McIntyre’s return was nothing less than furious. McIntyre dragged a clearly hurt Punk through the backroom area and out to the entrance to the ring, where he dumped Punk’s lifeless body. The crowd stood still and watched in shock as General Manager Nick Aldis and security staff rushed to stop the chaos from getting worse.
Punk was badly hurt in the attack and needed medical help right away. Later, video showed the Second City Saint being rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. His situation wasn’t mentioned, but it was clear that it was very bad.
McIntyre’s Bullshit on Social Media
To make matters worse, Drew McIntyre went on social media soon after the event. As a bold statement about his violent actions, McIntyre changed his Twitter biography picture to a gory picture of Punk’s bloody face. This can only be described as cruel.
The disturbing picture had only the hashtag “#NewProfilePic” next to it, which was a clear sign that McIntyre was happy with his cruel attack.

What Will Happen Next with McIntyre and Punk?
People in the WWE Universe are still shocked by what happened on SmackDown and can’t wait to see what happens next after McIntyre’s horrible act. As both celebrities get ready for their expected fight at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event in August, there is a lot of talk about what will happen next.
Fans and experts alike can’t wait for McIntyre to appear on Monday Night Raw next week. The Scottish Warrior is going to have to explain what he did, and everyone in the WWE is ready for it because they know it will be just as controversial as his attack on Punk.
There was rivalry again
Drew McIntyre and CM Punk’s long-standing dislike for each other has sparked one of the hottest battles in recent WWE history. This newest part, which is full of violence and psychological warfare, looks like it will keep people interested and raise the stakes before SummerSlam.
As Punk heals from his injuries, the question that still stands is how he will react to McIntyre’s violent attack. Is he going to seek revenge with the same zeal that McIntyre did? There is one thing that is for sure: this competition is far from over. The road to SummerSlam will be full of drama, tension, and more shocking turns.
