Here’s an overview of all the action, drama, and excitement at AEW Dynamite 250.
Mariah is getting honest after cheating on Toni Storm
The evening began with Mariah May’s highly anticipated performance. Just one week after winning Owen Hart’s 2024 Women’s Championship and shockingly defeating AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm, May has something to bring. As Storm looked on, May, who looked a lot like Storm, didn’t hesitate to address the elephant in the room.
“I think everyone saw this coming, except Tony,” May began. “Toni Storm was blinded by the light and couldn’t see it going.” The crowd cheered and jeered, but Mei wasn’t shocked. “The question is not why I changed, but why it took so long. I pulled Tony, it was funny. Now, it’s all Maria May. AEW All In at Wembley Stadium is my stage and my biggest show.” May’s ironic words set the tone for the evening and viewers were eager to see the results of her betrayal.

WILL OSPREAY will defend the AEW International Championship against MJF
The first match of the night saw Will Ospreay defend the AEW International Championship against the controversial MJF. The match was intense from the start, with MJF playing mind games as usual. After returning, Ospreay took control of the aircraft through several high-flying maneuvers. However, MJF, who is known for his tricks, managed to turn things around. He focused on Ospreay’s arms and shoulders, trying to wear down his strength in a variety of submission moves. Despite Ospreay’s efforts, MJF’s relentless attacks cost him the championship.
As the match continued, a brawl broke out outside the ring and the two brawled in the crowd. Ospreay’s agility and MJF’s brutality were on full display as both sides tried to win. After several near-fall moves and a lot of risk, MJF was able to follow suit, using his “Dynamite” diamond ring to take out Ospreay and secure the victory.
