In ROH’s most recent television tapings held on June 4th, a WWE Hall of Famer’s daughter made her debut.
Teal Piper has previously appeared twice for AEW, and now she is making her debut for Ring of Honor, Tony Khan’s other promotion.
Back in All Out 2019, Piper competed in the Casino Battle Royal which was won by Nyla Rose. She went on to wrestle on the independent scene before returning to AEW in January 2023 to face Anna Jay and Tay Melo.
At the most recent ROH tapings, Teal Piper debuted under the banner as she faced Diamante. During Deimos’ bout with Nick Comoroto, she accompanied him to the ring.
As part of the ROH tapings, a Board of Directors was formed that included former ROH World Champion Jerry Lynn and Stokely Hathaway, former leader of The Firm.
As well as his AEW duties, Tony Khan will still be in full control of the company’s bookings, despite the introduction of authority figures.
