After the shocking turn of events in last week’s show, everyone in WWE NXT was on edge. When former AEW star Ethan Page showed up out of the blue, he shocked everyone in the arena. He then attacked NXT Champion Trick Williams, making fans scream for more.
This past week, on the June 4th episode of WWE NXT, Ethan Page continued to make news when he negotiated a high-stakes deal with General Manager Ava. When things were getting heated, Page didn’t waste any time stepping up and demanding only the best for himself.
The discussion turned into an emotional fight very quickly because Page wouldn’t give in to what he wanted. Ava was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and things looked like they were stuck until NXT Champion Trick Williams showed up.
At that point, there was an epic battle where both guys swapped insults and jibes, each determined to win. Ava reluctantly agreed to Ethan Page’s terms, and he put pen to paper and signed his official NXT contract, making him the winner.
Things didn’t end there, though. It came as a surprise to find out that Ethan Page had also earned a shot at the NXT Championship at the upcoming Battleground event. The NXT locker room was shocked when they heard the news because it made Page’s goals clear.
A new update from Fightful Select says that people behind the scenes gave Page great feedback on how she did in the contract signing portion. People were mesmerised by his powerful appearance and magnetic charm, and his words held their attention.
All eyes will be on Ethan Page as he gets ready to make his mark on the Black and Gold brand as the road to NXT Battleground starts. What will he do to make the most of the chance and make his name known in NXT history? Time will tell.
