The WWE NXT sizzles with energy where even a look can mean more than a punch or a kick or an alliance. But more recently on NXT, NXT Women’s Champion, Roxanne Perez, made her way to the limelight along with her security guards whose identities seem to have set the internet alight.
With the Perez Vs Lola Vice match still scheduled for the Heatwave Premium Live Event fans of NXT were offered a go :os between the two exceptionally tough competitors. However, it was the ardent fans’ delight that two hulk like individuals were beside Perez during their quarrelsome confrontation.
For those who might have missed it, the good guys watching over the crowd were none other than Maxxine Dupri and the boyfriends of none other than Cora Jade, giving a twist of comedy tom the drama going on in the NXT Women’s Championship picture.
Having been nearly impervious to defeat for a number of months as it relates to the WWE NXT Women’s Championship, Perez, is surely, aware of the need for protection in the rough and tumble context of wrestling. Two wrestlers who have been increasingly close to hatred with each other, the introduction of Maxxine Dupri and the significant others of Cora Jade into the mix added the spice where the rivalry was already brewing.

Thus, fans of these teams could only imagine what this new alliance would mean. Would Perez really have the support of her security detail that can turn the tables in her favor at Heatwave? Or could Vice find a way to take advantage of this possibility of a weakness?
The unmasking of the security guards gave people something to talk about on the various social platforms they used in their daily lives. The NXT viewers were not shy either as they took to the Twitter and Instagram to express what they had to say or even their speculation of how this new twist was going to affect the title match.
WWE NXT is survival ground where friendships change as often as weather, and animosity is white-hot … every aspect counts in this place! The decision to include Maxxine Dupri and Cora Jade’s partners as his protectors is not only smart but symbolically loaded. It is quite symbolic to Perez’s desire to retain her title no matter what it takes; she is willing to surround herself with what seems like a little help from her friends.
