The CrossFit Games finals decide the Fittest on Earth. The 2026 Games in San Jose marked the event's 20th anniversary.
The CrossFit Games decide the Fittest on Earth in individual men's and women's divisions and a team division. Athletes complete a series of events — workouts mixing weightlifting, gymnastics and endurance — announced shortly before they are contested, and earn points by placing.
The 2026 Games, the 20th, were held July 22–26 at the SAP Center in San Jose, with opening events at the ranch in Aromas, California, where the first Games took place.

A fan's guide
Some Games events are announced only shortly before they are contested, so athletes cannot train specifically for them. That uncertainty is part of the sport's appeal: the winner must be good at everything.
CrossFit streams the Games live on its own platforms.
Our take
The 2026 Games' record 20 events made them the most complete test of fitness yet. Cringle's dominant win suggests a new era in the women's division.
We think the Games are at their best when the programming tests a wide range of skills, and 2026 was the best example in years.
What's next
