Every rumor on Wrestling Headliner carries one of four ratings, shown at the top of the story:
| Rating | What it means | Typical evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmed | Officially announced by the promotion, federation or athlete | Official announcement |
| Likely | Reported by reliable outlets or strongly implied by confirmed facts, but not yet official | Multiple reliable reports; format or contracts point to it |
| Speculative | A single or unverified source | One report, social media, unnamed sources |
| Debunked | Denied by the people involved or proven false | Official denial or contrary event |
When a rumor’s status changes, we update the story and its rating, and the original claim stays visible so readers can see what changed. We do not publish rumors about athletes’ private lives, health or legal matters. Ratings are assigned by our news editor and reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief.
