Every match: our commentary
King of the Table 4 · Jun 25, 2022
Devon had beaten John Brzenk and Michael Todd on the way back to the top and was the biggest draw in the sport, but Levan's size and side pressure overwhelmed him. Devon could not hold his hand in a position to work, and Levan won all six rounds.
East vs West 12 · Apr 20, 2024
Devon held the East vs West super heavyweight title and came in with a plan to start fast. Round 1 needed straps after a slip and Devon was penalized for a foul before Levan pinned him. In round 2 Levan surprised him with a hard press and top roll; round 3 went to straps again before Levan pinned him with power and side pressure; round 4 was quick. Levan took the title.
The backstory
Before their first match, Devon had argued that technique and endurance could beat Levan's size, and the build-up drew one of the biggest audiences the sport had seen. After the 6–0 loss he analyzed it publicly and earned a rematch by winning the East vs West super heavyweight title in 2023.
Levan was coming back from a wrist injury before the 2024 rematch, which raised Devon's hopes; the 4–0 result settled it. Levan gave up the East vs West super heavyweight title in July 2026 to recover from injury and has said he plans to return in 2027.
