What happened
Unbeaten Shamil Erdogan headlined ONE Fight Night 48 at Lumpinee Stadium and stayed perfect at 14-0, choking out Paul Elliott in the second round after surviving a scary moment when Elliott rocked him early in the round. The finish earned Erdogan a $50,000 bonus.
Our take
ONE Fight Night’s mixed-discipline format — MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing and submission grappling on one card — is its biggest strength for US viewers on Prime Video. Parham Gheirati’s two-knockdown decision over Nakrob Fairtex after a year away was the best Muay Thai performance on the card.
