What happened
KnuckleMania 6 in Philadelphia crowned the most famous name in bare-knuckle fighting as its heavyweight champion. Andrei Arlovski, the former UFC heavyweight champion, beat Ben Rothwell when the doctor stopped the fight in the third round — a rematch of their 2008 MMA fight, now with the gloves off.
Ben Bonner’s decision over Tony Soto earned him a lightweight title shot, and he won the vacant title in July 2026. KnuckleMania VII is set for Miami in February 2027 with Arlovski against unbeaten Leonardo Perdomo.
Our take
Arlovski as champion is good business and a genuine sporting achievement at his age, but the more significant result for BKFC’s future was Lorenzo Hunt’s fourth-round knockout of David Mundell. Hunt, light heavyweight champion since November 2025, added the new ironweight title in July 2026, and he is the closest thing BKFC has to a pound-for-pound star.
