What happened
Andrew Jacked (Chinedu Obiekea) won the 2026 Arnold Classic in Columbus and the $750,000 purse that comes with it, beating Nick Walker and Hadi Choopan. He also took the Best Poser award; Walker won Most Muscular.
What happened next: Walker reversed the result at the Olympia in September, winning Mr. Olympia while Andrew Jacked finished fourth. The Arnold has a long history of producing a different winner from the Olympia, partly because some contenders skip one show to peak for the other.
Our take
the Arnold Sports Festival is the best weekend in strength sports for a fan to attend in person — bodybuilding, the Arnold Strongman Classic, powerlifting and dozens of other sports in one convention center. Mitchell Hooper’s fourth straight Strongman Classic win made him the second-most successful athlete in the event’s history behind Žydrūnas Savickas.
