WrestleMania is WWE's biggest annual event, first held at Madison Square Garden in 1985. It now runs over two nights each spring. WrestleMania 43 is set for April 10–11, 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the first WrestleMania held outside North America.
WrestleMania is the end point of WWE's year. Storylines that begin at the Royal Rumble in January and run through Elimination Chamber in late February are designed to pay off here, which is why the event carries both world championships, most secondary titles and the biggest one-off attractions WWE can book.
Since 2020 the show has run over two nights, each with its own main event. The men's and women's Royal Rumble winners earn a world title match, and the Elimination Chamber winners usually fill the other title slots, so by March the shape of the card is largely known.

A fan's guide
For a first-time viewer, WrestleMania is the easiest wrestling show to follow, because every major match has been built for weeks on Raw and SmackDown. Watch the openers for spectacle — celebrity tags, multi-person ladder matches — and the main events for the long, dramatic title matches that WWE saves for this weekend.
If you are thinking of attending WrestleMania 43, the trip is very different from recent editions: Riyadh is a long flight from the US, the event is part of a wider Riyadh Season festival, and WWE's travel packages usually go on sale months ahead. WrestleMania week also includes NXT, the Hall of Fame ceremony and fan events, so most travelling fans plan for four or five days rather than two.
Our take
WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh is the most significant venue decision in the event's history. Taking WWE's biggest show out of North America for the first time is a commercial decision first, and US fans lose the chance to attend in person without a long trip. But WWE's Saudi shows have consistently delivered big-match atmospheres, and a WrestleMania built for a stadium crowd in April should travel well on ESPN.
Our view on the modern two-night format is that it works because it halves the length of each show without halving the importance of the matches. The risk is a thin undercard; WrestleMania 42 avoided it by placing title matches on both nights rather than stacking them on Sunday.
What's next
WrestleMania 43 takes place April 10–11, 2027. The road there runs through Crown Jewel (November 7), Survivor Series: WarGames (November 28), the Royal Rumble in January and Elimination Chamber in February. Watch the Rumble winners: they have main-evented the last two WrestleManias.
