What happened
Bound for Glory 2026 in Tampa was TNA’s biggest show of the year and its most decisive in a long time: five titles changed hands, ending with Leon Slater beating Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship.
Slater’s win is a statement about TNA’s future. He had cashed in his Option C challenge for this match, and putting the top title on a young high-flyer rather than a veteran shows where the company wants to build. Nemeth had won the title from Mike Santana at Slammiversary in June.
Indi Hartwell’s Knockouts title win over Xia Brookside, with Mickie James as guest referee, and Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler’s tag title win complete a show that refreshed almost every division at once.
Our take
Amazing Red winning the vacant X Division title on the same night he went into the TNA Hall of Fame (alongside Konnan and ODB) was a lovely touch. The Syx beating The Hardys with interference from Erick Redbeard was the one result that felt like a set-up rather than a payoff — expect a rematch.
