A fan's guide
Slammiversary is TNA's summer celebration, and Ultimate X — wrestlers crossing ropes strung above the ring to grab a title — is the match to watch. It often sets up the stories that conclude at Bound for Glory in October.
The show usually takes place in June or July, and streams on TNA+.
Our take
Slammiversary 2026 was the first half of a story that Bound for Glory finished: Nemeth took the title from Santana in June and lost it to Leon Slater in October. Seen together, the two shows mark a clear handover to a new generation.
Ultimate X remains the best gimmick match outside WWE and AEW, and TNA is right to keep it as a Slammiversary tradition.
What's next
Slammiversary 2027 is expected in early summer.
