Crown Jewel is WWE's event in Saudi Arabia, first staged in 2018. Its Crown Jewel Championship matches pit the Raw world champion against the SmackDown world champion. The 2026 edition is set for November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium.
Crown Jewel is WWE's autumn event in partnership with Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Season. Since 2024 its centrepiece has been the Crown Jewel Championship: Raw's world champion against SmackDown's world champion, with a separate women's version for the two brands' women's champions. The winners hold a Crown Jewel title for the year, while their regular championships are not at stake.
The first Crown Jewel was held in Riyadh in 2018. The 2025 edition moved to Perth, Australia, before the event returned to Riyadh for 2026.

A fan's guide
Crown Jewel's champion-versus-champion matches are non-title, which means the brand titles are safe, but the results still matter: a world champion who loses at Crown Jewel carries that loss into the Road to WrestleMania. Watch how each brand's commentary teams frame the result in the following week's shows.
The 2026 event is at Riyadh Season Stadium, a temporary outdoor venue built for the season. Riyadh is eight hours ahead of US Eastern time in November, so WWE schedules the show for a US afternoon or evening audience on ESPN.
Our take
Champion-versus-champion matches are the most interesting idea WWE has added to its calendar in years, because they let brand champions meet without one of them losing a title. The risk is predictability: the winner of a non-title match between two champions rarely changes the bigger picture.
For 2026 the women's match — Liv Morgan against Chelsea Green — has the stronger story. If Roman Reigns faces Sami Zayn, as expected, it will be a test of whether SmackDown's champion is treated as Reigns' equal.
