WWE Crown Jewel returns to Riyadh on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the temporary Riyadh Season Stadium in the King Abdullah Financial District. After the 2025 edition was held in Perth, Australia, this is the show’s return to Saudi Arabia, where it was born in 2018.
The champion-versus-champion format
The show’s signature is champion versus champion. The men’s WWE Crown Jewel Championship pits Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion against SmackDown‘s Undisputed WWE Champion, and the women’s version matches Raw’s Women’s World Champion with SmackDown’s WWE Women’s Champion. The brand titles are not on the line; the winners hold a Crown Jewel Championship for the year.
| Year | Men's Crown Jewel Champion | Women's Crown Jewel Champion |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | Cody Rhodes | Liv Morgan |
| 2025 | Seth Rollins | Stephanie Vaquer |
| 2026 | To be decided | To be decided |
The matches
| Match | Status | How they got here |
|---|---|---|
| Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green | Confirmed | Morgan won the Women's World title at Money in the Bank (Oct 10); Green won the interim WWE Women's title at SummerSlam |
| Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn | Expected; not official as of Oct 12 | Reigns won the World Heavyweight title at WrestleMania 42; Zayn regained the Undisputed WWE title on Sep 11 |
Our take
The women’s match has the better story. Morgan has won the Royal Rumble, a WrestleMania title and the Money in the Bank triple threat in 2026; Green has turned a comedy act into a championship run. Morgan, who won the first women’s Crown Jewel title in 2024, is our pick.
If Reigns faces Zayn, the question is whether SmackDown’s champion is treated as Reigns’ equal. Zayn’s history with Reigns — including their 2023 Bloodline storyline — gives the match emotional weight beyond the title. Reigns is the favourite.

Predictions
| Match | Our pick | Confidence |
|---|---|---|
| Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green | Liv Morgan | Medium |
| Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn (expected) | Roman Reigns | Medium |
Crown Jewel results rarely change the brand title pictures, because the Crown Jewel Championships are separate titles. That makes the winners a statement about who WWE sees as its top star on each side. Morgan’s year makes her the natural choice; Reigns is WWE’s biggest attraction, and Riyadh audiences have reacted strongly to him.
