Sami Zayn: News, Titles & Career Stats

Career overview

Zayn's journey from NXT and the independent scene to WWE's top title is one of the company's best long-form stories. He was a key part of The Bloodline storyline in 2022–23 and won the WWE tag titles with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39. His 2026 title run has been turbulent — won, lost after nine days to CM Punk, then regained in Mexico City in September — which makes him SmackDown's most compelling champion in years.
