What's reported
With the women’s champion-versus-champion match already confirmed, the men’s Crown Jewel Championship is expected to be Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns against SmackDown‘s Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in Riyadh on November 7.
What's confirmed
The Crown Jewel Championship format pits the two brands’ world champions against each other, and Reigns and Zayn hold those titles. WWE had not officially announced the match as of October 12. On SmackDown on October 16, Zayn pointed toward Reigns and Crown Jewel in his opening promo.
| Factor | Evidence | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Crown Jewel Championship is always the two world champions | Strong |
| Champions | Reigns (Raw) and Zayn (SmackDown) hold the titles | Strong |
| TV build | Zayn referenced Reigns and Crown Jewel on SmackDown, Oct 16 | Moderate |
| Official announcement | None as of Oct 12 | Missing |
Our rating: Likely
The format points directly to this match, but it isn’t official until WWE announces it. A title change before November 7 — for example a Money in the Bank cash-in by Penta — is the main way it could change. We will update this story either way.
If it happens
If it happens, it is a strong match with history: Reigns and Zayn’s Bloodline storyline in 2022–23 was one of the best of the decade, and a non-title Crown Jewel match lets WWE revisit it without either man losing his championship.
Reigns and Zayn: the history
| Year | Moment |
|---|---|
| 2022 | Zayn joins The Bloodline as 'Honorary Uce' |
| 2023 | Zayn turns on Reigns at the Royal Rumble |
| Feb 2023 | Reigns beats Zayn at Elimination Chamber in Montreal |
| 2026 | Reigns (World Heavyweight) and Zayn (Undisputed WWE) hold the brands' world titles |
Their 2023 Elimination Chamber main event in Montreal was the emotional peak of the Bloodline storyline; a Crown Jewel match would revisit it with both men as champions.
