A fan's guide
Revolution is AEW's best 'wrestling fan's' show: fewer celebrity segments, more long matches, and a world title match that usually carries a stipulation. Its March date makes it the conclusion of the storylines that begin at Worlds End.
If you only watch a few AEW pay-per-views a year, Revolution is the one most likely to deliver match-of-the-year contenders.
Our take
Revolution is AEW's most consistent show in terms of match quality because it does not carry the expectation of a stadium event. The 2026 card's two new tag-team champions and a two-out-of-three-falls women's title match gave it depth beyond the main event.
The Texas Death Match stipulation was a brave piece of booking; it only works if AEW keeps its word that Page cannot challenge again.
What's next
Revolution 2027 is expected in March. It will be the first big stop on Will Ospreay's road as champion if he still holds the title.
