The first Raw after Money in the Bank locked in the women’s match for Crown Jewel: new Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will face WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship in Riyadh on November 7.

Morgan won the Women’s World title from Stephanie Vaquer two nights earlier in New Orleans, in a triple threat that also included Becky Lynch. Green, SmackDown‘s champion, won an interim version of the WWE Women’s title in a five-way ladder match at SummerSlam in August.

Roxanne Perez pinned Chelsea Green in a non-title match after distractions from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez — the classic way of giving a challenger and champion a reason to dislike each other a month before they meet. Chad Gable kept the Intercontinental title he won from Penta at SummerSlam by making Rey Fenix tap to the ankle lock, and Rey Mysterio beat Big Cass after Dragon Lee got involved.

Our take

This was a functional Raw rather than a memorable one, and that is fine three weeks from Crown Jewel. The women’s champion-versus-champion match has the clearer story of the two Crown Jewel Championship matches, because Morgan and Green both won their titles in multi-woman matches and neither has had to beat the other.

The decision we like most is Oba Femi rejecting Paul Heyman. Femi has beaten Brock Lesnar twice in 2026 — at WrestleMania 42 and inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam — and keeping him away from Heyman preserves him as a challenger for Roman Reigns‘ World Heavyweight title in 2027.

Carmelo Hayes leading The 946 is a smart use of a wrestler who has struggled for direction since moving up from NXT.

The match has an obvious story — Morgan the decorated star against Green the underdog who turned comedy into a championship — and Raw started telling it immediately by having Morgan cost Green a non-title match against Roxanne Perez. That is a familiar device, but it gives Green a grievance to carry into Riyadh.

The Intercontinental picture

Chad Gable’s ankle-lock win over Rey Fenix was his first televised defense since he took the Intercontinental title from Penta at SummerSlam, and it showed exactly why he is a credible champion: Fenix is one of the most athletic wrestlers in the world, and Gable beat him with technique. With Penta now holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, Gable is likely to need a new top challenger for the autumn.

What's next

Crown Jewel is on Saturday, November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium. The men’s Crown Jewel Championship is expected to be Roman Reigns against Sami Zayn — see our rumor rating — and our Crown Jewel 2026 page has the confirmed card.
